It is believed to be The King of Flowers, and
symbolizes longevity and prosperity. The desk
is meant to be filled with good wishes and coins
for a long and happy marriage.

I used the same Kanji on my print for Tree Peony, but interesting translation when put it through my Kanji translator and got totally different result
