Mosaic Oshawa 2015 Peony Festival Wedding Desk

It is lined with flower sketches from
the public domain that were drawn by
                         Wenceslas Hollar in 1662.
                        The Chinese Characters mean Mudan/Peony.
It is believed to be The King of Flowers, and
symbolizes longevity and prosperity. The desk
is meant to be filled with good wishes and coins
for a long and happy marriage.

1948 Ford truck mosaic box pt 1

1948 Ford truck mosaic box

1948 Ford Truck Mosaic Box Pt 2

The Box is being made out of zebrawood and mahogany. The mosaics
are being installed on either side of the box. The box is going over the wheel well, hence the shape of the mosaic pieces

This is the truck it is being made for. It was a rusted carcass in a farmer's field in Indiana, and the person restored it to this wondrous glory.

September 2015 Mosaics installed on zebrawood.

Mosaic "3L3CTRIC" Box

I was commissioned to create this box for a graduating electrician out of previously made wooden beer crates. The crates had "B3" already stamped on them so they were incorporated into the design. LED lights were installed all around the opening of the crates as well as inside the old insulator glass. The recipient grew up in Kingston, so
there is some Kingston limestone on it. The "handle" is made from electrical marrettes. The yellow paint around the "B3L3CTRIC" glows in the dark.
                                insulators with telephone wire
                                and LED lights inside

before the mosaic glass and limestone was installed
after; with the led lights on and room lights on
and with the led lights on and room lights off.
